ICA Hosts Mock Primary

The results of the Spartan Press Mock Democratic Presidential Primary came in, on Monday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 3, with an overwhelming victory for Bernie Sanders. With a total of 103 votes, 77.5% went to Sanders. The second leading candidate was Elizabeth Warren, with 8.8% of the vote. Joe Biden came in third with 7.8% of the votes, with Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg, and Tulsi Gabbard sharing the remaining votes. A couple of students spoke about the leader, Bernie Sanders:

"He's the candidate who really advocates putting people first. He really promotes equality for all, which can be seen through his views/policies in topics such as private prisons, income taxes, and student debts. The perspective he provides with his policies correlates with a lot of my own opinions." - Anonymous
